OUR STORY
After completing my medical Ph.D. in China, I conducted cancer medical research in Canada for 8 years. In 2017, I started a business in Canada focusing on international medical exchanges and promoting translational medicine. In 2018, I visited a Swiss recuperation institution in Thailand and became interested in the medical industry in Germany and Switzerland.
In 2019, my Swiss cousin arranged for us to embark on a 10-day self-driving tour of medical institutions in Germany and Switzerland. Through her connections, we had face-to-face exchanges with some institutions, and I met the founder of the KTK Children's Hospital in Switzerland. This gave me a deeper understanding of the local hospitals, nursing homes, and pharmaceutical and medical industries.
In 2020, with the strong support of my cousin and the KTK Children's Hospital founder, our company, Medu, was born in Liestal, Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland.
Despite the pandemic's impact, we remain committed to promoting advanced medical technology and educational concepts from Switzerland and Germany to benefit more people.
Our Home
Liestal is a charming small city located in northwest Switzerland, in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. With a population of around 14,000, it is the capital of its canton and a hub for commerce, culture, and education. The city's history dates back to the 13th century, and it is home to several historical buildings and landmarks, such as the Rathaus and the Martinskirche.
Liestal also has several museums, including the Museum.BL and the Museum of Music Automatons. The city has a vibrant cultural scene with many events and festivals taking place throughout the year, including the famous Chienbäse festival.
Liestal is well-connected to the rest of Switzerland and Europe by road and rail and is located only a short distance from Basel, one of Switzerland's largest cultural and economic centers. Liestal offers visitors and residents a high quality of life with a strong sense of community, excellent healthcare, and a clean and safe environment. It is also home to many institutions dedicated to healthcare and the biology of Basel.
